Reverse Color Blocking Technique

I figured if you could color block one way...let's reverse it and see what we get!

I used the same supplies as with the basic color blocking technique so no worries on adding anything new to your stash ;)

Reverse Color Blocking

Basic Color Blocking 001

Supplies:

Cardstock

Distress Inks

Ink Blending Tool

Masking Paper or scrap paper

Instructions:

1. Begin by placing a mask with the straight edge towards the center of the card.

2. Apply inks towards the center of the card (in the Basic Color Blocking Technique we applied the inks along the outside edge)

3. Leave the first mask in place and over lap a second piece of masking paper...

4. Apply inks and continue alternating between adding additional layers of masking paper and ink until you're satisfied with the results.

And this is one possible outcome using the reverse color blocking technique!

A few people were asking for additional examples of the Basic Color Blocking Technique to give more ideas on how you could vary the colors.

I didn't forget about you ~ I will be sharing the finished card for this as well as several other patterns you could create using these two techniques.

Till then friends...warm inky wishes!!
BTW, Ding Ding Ding ~ this is post #800!!!
Sure doesn't seem like that many :)
